7th CPC New Pension Scheme

7th Pay Commission New Pension Scheme

The 7th Pay Commission has brought forth a new pension scheme for Central Government employees. However, it is important to note that there is no change in pension calculation after the implementation of this new scheme. If you’re a Central Government employee, you can check the pension amount using the official government pension calculator to ensure that you’re getting the correct amount. This new scheme aims to provide financial security and stability to employees even after their retirement by ensuring a steady and reliable stream of income.

The latest news regarding the conversion of NPS to OPS for central government employees has been a topic of much discussion. The conversion, which would involve switching from the National Pension System to the Old Pension Scheme, has been a hotly debated issue among employees. While some argue that the NPS offers more flexibility and choice, others believe that the OPS provides better security and stability. Despite differing opinions, the decision to convert will ultimately affect the retirement plans of thousands of central government employees.

Reversion to Old Pension Scheme from Existing National Pension System – Major demand of CG Employees

Introduction of New Pension Scheme (which is a contributory pension scheme) with effect from 1.1.2004.

The main and first demand of CG Employees is now ‘Scrap NPS – Restore OPS’. After 2004 the demand is slowly getting higher tone year by year. Almost 15 years passed, and the total strength of NPS subscribers is more than 18 lakh.

New Pension Scheme was implemented for the employees who joined on or after 1.1.2004. All Employees Unions and Federations are opposed on that day of implementation and to implement the Old Pension Scheme.

Particularly, the Railway Federation AIRF and NFIR, seeking exemption from the National Pension System (NPS) and restoration of the Defined Benefit Pension Scheme [Liberalized Pension Scheme, Railway Services (Pension) Rules 1993].

Answer to JEEVAN 21/8 : Minimum Pension of ₹ 9,000/- p.m + D.R applicable., but it depends upon your father’s last basic pay of 50% upto 67 years of attaining age of your father, after ward’s family pension as 60% in that basic Pension..

NPS pension is most wrost scheme for central government and state government employees.

I have not received my gratuity and my balance PF 40 percent from NSDL. Since August 15

Ii have not received my gratuity from MD DHVBN since August 15.

It is suggested that 40 percent PF may be kept with NSDL Pension trust and retiree should provide minimum pension which is not less than the last subscription deposited to NSDL.

I ask questions on the above article that, (1) how much amount the family will get after demise of an NPS employee after only 01 year of service? And (2) in the above example, 60% of pension is paying after payable of income tax, service tax, NSDL charges, how much amount does the employee will be taken in hand? And also (3) based on the NAV rate, there is a lot of difference in pension amount who retire in one month compare to another month? (4) No gratuity, no loan facility, no fixed rate of interest? and the final one, (5) if one employee comparing to another employee working on same cadre, same work, is getting new pension based on NAV rate in one month compare to another month retirement – Which will not agree as per Law. The Gconnect have to explain with justification soon please..

It would be a great gesture if the government thinks about the pension scheme for the short service commissioned offciers. As they serve the country for 10/14 years but they are not entitled for pension whereas civilian govt employees are eligible for pension after 10 years of service.
