sir
how much time it will take for appointment for technician grade 3 after final list is forwarded to the general manager .
Tanushree says
It is necessary otherwise any technician not take promotion as je.if an employee worked as technician 1 if he gets promotion against intermediate quotas he will gain marginal money……. But high risk of job…no gain of dpq .j.e.because they come from 4200 grade pay.if an employee work in tech 1 for 3 years he will automatically reached the pay matrix of 4200….he has no gain…… If he will getting promotion after 31.12.2015..he gain only frustration, because high risk of job but marginal money tary benefit… So immediately changed the grade pay of technical supervisor, otherwise 25% inq and 25% dpq je should not come …..minimum 3 years tech 1 or sr.technician have no benefit…..
rahul singh says
what is the exact salary of section engineer during its training period? And also, will there be any interview for selection or they will reqruit just on the merit basis? Pls rply.

It’s not one year …
Diploma can be done just after 10 within next 3 year but degree at a same time after 12 than 4 more year….
Beside year a degree engineer is much more knowing about higher depths of his subjects relative to a superficial learned diploma.
Sukanta naskar says
1year difference on Diploma and degree engineering course but diploma engineers are not getting their next promotion after 8year as a assistant engineer like degree engineer why this difference
akn says
The persons who are directly in production and open line always should be given more emphasize than the babus. the babus are really inefficient (expect some) therefore the dues of the staff are not cleared in time.
Saransh says
There should be more allowance to clerical staff as other dept of railway receive various allowance.specially running staff
KRAchar says
BE Graduates are to be considered group B status at entry in Railways as in other dept. like BSNL, Elct supply company, Power Corporations etc.
raghbir chand says
1.commission may study before allotting the scales for specific job/designation having required eligibility qualification of the job/designation and the one have recruited through RRBs or any other sources. whom fulfill the criteria of the designation/post (having higher qualification) should be given higher Grade Pay or extra increment.
2. Quarter/accommodation allotment policy in indian railways must be study. ones have alloted accommodation within few months or few years of service and others whom their colleagues have freezed for tens of years. many of them have alloted accommodation near their retirement. policy of rotation upto specific period allotment of accommodation i.e. for 10 years. after 10 years employees have to left to accommodation (i.e. cancel the accommodation/allotment) and next employees in the queue should allot the government accommodation.
ARAVIND.R.LACHYAN says

Those who entered in this organisation with B.E qualification and posted as Sr.SE , has no career promotion unless otherwise passing Group-B LDCE exams. Is MACP correct procedure for career promotion?Has IRTSA ever raised /uplift this issue to the DOPT? I felt IRTSA meant for diploma supervisors and worrying about officers salary incremental.
ragu says
sr.tech and JE ‘s are placing at same grade pay (Rs 4200/-)but in the work shop concern JE has more responsibility than sr.techn ,like wise shop-floor supervisors are holding higher responsibility than the PCO wing. Shop floor supervisors are facing day to day problem regarding material manpower and trade unions finally with officers. But all are keep at one basic and one rank.why this disparity? This seventh pay commission may expect to solve this issues. IRTSA should take this issues to the concern . so that, supervisors working in shop-floor can perform their work with satisfaction.
Nandini Ghosh says
The grade pay of SSE and CMA should be equivalent as the qualification required for CMA is B.E/M.SC in chemistry which is at par with SSE
Debabrata says
Very good. But it should be keep in mind that in 7th pay commission the grade pay of Sr.tech. and Jr.Engr should not be same.
