State wise details of CGHS Beneficiaries as on 31st March, 2019
According to the latest report of CGHS under Ministry of Healh and Family Welfare, a total of 34,15,736 CGHS beneficiaries registered as on March, 2019. More than 40 percent of total beneficiaries are in Delhi and NCR (16,71,518).
Various demands are putting infront of Government on adding more private hospitals in Central Government Health Scheme.
Government can empanel private hospitals and diagnostic centres only if they are eligible and apply for empanelment on the defined term & conditions.
This is a voluntary process on part of the hospitals and diagnostic centres. Government is, however, open to empanel interested eligible hospitals.

**- CGHS beneficiaries of some CGHS Wellness Centres in these States are registered with other CGHS Wellness Centres of same/ other State/UT.
