The calculations for Dearness Allowance for the month of January 2023 have concluded. The sixth and last calculation of Dearness Allowance since issuing the AIPCIN for December 2022 is done. Central Government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners are now receiving 38% of their basic salary/pension as DA and DR every month. DA Arrears 2023 for CG employees
Usually, Dearness Allowance hikes are declared in March and September, taking effect from the following January and July, respectively. Accordingly, Dearness Allowance for the first two months of each period will be provided as arrears. On 1 January 2023, a further 4% increase in the Dearness Allowance rate will be applicable to all Central Government employees, pensioners, and those receiving family pensions. Existing CG employees will be provided with a 42% Dearness Allowance by March 2023, and arrears for the months of January and February 2023 will be paid out then as well. The Dearness Allowance or Dearness Relief will be calculated using the existing and retired employees’ respective basic pay or basic pension.

MP Govt Announces 4% DA

Sir pranams we. Are very grateful that ministry has approved tentatively about da percentage from Jan 2023 for cental servants but the fitment benifit to be changed will have any effect for employees who retired after 30/6/2019

May basic pension Rs.24500, what will be new DR from 1.1.2023? What about DR arrears?

Your new DA will be Rs. 10290 from Jan 2023 and Rs. 20580 as Arrears may be paid in the month of March 2023.

Not yet approved. They will approve in March 23 but since there will be no funds for the year 2022-23. Anyhow it will be given arrears to employees in April,23. For pensioner it will be given on the 30/4/23 only.
