When Cabinet Committee will approve on 5% DA Hike?

September month also comes to an end!
Now, only one day balance in this month, on Monday (30th September) may come fruitful announcement on DA hike to all Central Government employees and Pensioners including Armed Forces Personnel and Railway employees!
5% Additional DA + 12% Existing DA = 17% Total DA
The second installment of additional Dearness Allowance with effect from July 2019 is almost finalized to increase 5% from the existing level of 12% to all Central Government Employees, Pensioners including Defence Personnel and Railway Employees.

After getting approval from Union Cabinet, the proper announcement will be published by PIB immediately. And then Finance Ministry will issue notification on enhancement of DA to all eligible employees.
The total DA and DR will hike and set to 17% from July to December 2019 for all Central Government employees, pensioners and family pensioners.

- 2017 July to December: 5%
- 2018 January to June: 7%
- 2018 July to December: 9%
- 2019 January to June: 12%
