5% DA from July 2019 – Cabinet may approve in September
5% additional Dearness Allowance with effect from 1.7.2019 to all Central Government employees and pensioners
“Cabinet Committee may decide and approve on this subject in the second week of September 2019”
After releasing the AICPIN for the month of June 2019, the calculation of additional Dearness allowance is over. The Labour Bureau send the detailed report of statistics of CPI (IW) BY 2001=100 from January to June 2019 to Finance Ministry.
Finance Ministry will decide the additional percentage of DA depends upon the statistics reports of AICPIN with effect from 1st July, 2019 to all Central Government employees and Pensioners.

After taking decision upon the additional DA, the Finance Ministry will make an agenda and send for approval to Cabinet Committee.
So, announcement of hike in DA may come in the second week of September 2019.
