PCDA Circular 501
The Office of PCDA (Pensions) published a detailed circular on 17 January 2013, which was circulated by the Ministry of Defence letter No.1(13)/2012/D(Pen/Policy) dated 17.01.2013 regarding improvement in pension to bridge the gap in pension of Pre 1.1.2006 and Post 1.1.2006 discharged JCOs / ORs of the Armed Forces will be effective from 24.9.2012.
The comprehensive list of maximum terms of engagement for JCO and OR of Armed Forces applicable from time to time including emergency period is tabled here to enable all PDAs to revise the pension correctly for the length of qualifying service for which the pensioner has been pensioned initially:

Sir, it is not understood that how maximum term and conditions of HFO is 32 Yrs where as the maximum term and condition for warrant officers and master warrant officers are 33Yrs. The quilfying service of Most of the HFO is more than 37 Yrs. I request to look into the matter and do needful.

If an Officer has served in the Ranks i.e. below Commissioned Officer for 9 years and as Commissioned Officer for 18 years and retired from the rank of Sqn. Ldr. equivalent to Major. How his year of service shall be counted?
