Railway Minister directs to develop an online system for grievance redressal of both serving as well as retired Railwaymen.
The system called NIVARAN to come into operation by 24th June, 2016.
The System to have provision for progress tracking and appeal.
Railway Minister to personally review and monitor the functioning of this system.
The move to benefit around 27 lakhs persons.
In an innovative measure aimed at staff welfare, Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu has directed railway administration to develop an online system for the redressal of grievances of Railway Employees both serving as well as retired.
The IT Department of Indian Railways has started working on developing this system which will be called “NIVARAN” and will come into operation by 24.06.2016.
Under this system, a railway personnel will be able to submit his grievances online and can also track the progress in resolution or disposal of the grievances.
The main focus areas of the grievance redressal will be reimbursement of medical claims, pension claim, compassionate appointment and improvement in staff quarters.
The move will benefit around 13.26 lakhs serving railway employees and around 13.79 lakhs retired railway personnel that is the system NIVARAN will serve the needs of around total 27 lakhs persons.
The Railway Minister has also directed the Railway Administration to create a provision or mechanism in this system for “appeal” against a particular decision of an authority.
The Railway Minister has accorded important priority to this new system and has decided to personally review and monitor the functioning of this system.
The monitoring and review will also be done at Railway Board Level, at Zonal Level and at Divisional level also.
The Railway Minister has always been emphasizing on measures aimed at the welfare of the staff and resolution of their problems.
He has always been pointing out the sincerity, dedication and hard work being put in by the railway employees to make Indian Railways as the world class railway system.

MY FATHER V. RAMADASU, TRACKMAN/SSEP.WAY/O/RJY, VIJAYWWDA DIVION/SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWY IS EXPIRED WHILE WORKING ON 04.06.2018. I HAVE SUBMITED ALL SETTLEMENT PAPERS AND PENSION PEPARES WITHIN TWO (I.E.IN SEP-2018). STILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY MONTHY PENSION AND SETTLEMENT AMOUNT ALMOST ONE YEAR AND TWO MONTS OVER. I HAVE SEVERAL TIMES APPROACHED TO SEETTLEMENT SECTION, BZA DIVISION BUT NO REPLY IS GIVEN. I HAVE ALSO NOT RECIEVED 4 DAYS SALARY FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE-2018 AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED PLB FOR THE YEAR 2017-2018. MY MOTHOR ALSO EXPIRED, I AM UN-EMPLOYED, I HAVE FACING LOT OF PROBLES FOR FEEDING. I AM REQUESTING YOU SIR, KIDLY LOOK IN TO MY PROBLEMS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE PLEASE.

Whether your father has given your mother’s name as wife & your name as dependent in his office records. The only eligible for pension/family pension as per the rules.

Sir, I am MANOJ KUMAR JHA working as SS at Kanpur Central. I was given macp to GP4600 in January 2011 due in February 2010. I had given option to charge my macp increment with regular increment of July 2010. But it was not done so. Therefore I lost one increment. I have done many correspondences in this connection and also met DPO and SR DPO Allahabad but in vain. Please help me.

Sir,I am working as loco pilot mail at bsb division, ner. I was in paternity leave from 04.04.2016 to 18.04.2016 but. no pay elements. given. for these prieod.. I three times larged grievances in lobby grievances registere but every time remarks given by personnel dept. that pay elements. not given in paternity leave.As per IRME volume 1 rule no 551 A,leave salary should be paid in paternity leave & running allowance chapter 9 rule no 924 has clear that pay elements should be given in leave salary. So kindly see the matter and advice the Bsb personnel dept to pay the pay elements for above period.
Respected Sir, I,F.CHARLES am working as Depot Material Superintendent @Dy.CMM/LW/PER. Against my representation dated: 29.02.2016 for treating my dismissal period from .8.06.2005 to 20.10.2016 as duty, no reply has been received till date in spite of my several reminders as I am eligible for the same vide Rly Board letter dated 1985. Respected sir i devanand shende sr alp nagpur nagpur division for your kind attention that in bsl division bsl running room central cooling facility not available in bsl running room nagpur alp coaching side also bed facility is not good old cot is very highted celing fan is old running very slowely so there is in hot season there is very hot weather due to not wkg central cooling old type celing fan covering one fan three bed and also cabin system not provided general bed systeam food facility also not good there is no cantrct food systeam like other running room why so there is disterbanse in taking rest due to reason. so pls look in all matter i will thankfull to you sir your help thanking you sir. devanand shende sr alp nagpur

Sir,I am working in western railway,ahmedabad in signal department as MCF/ESM under SSE (signal)DHG at Halvad station in scale (9300-34800+4200 )from dated 28.03.2015 According to letter no. E/SIG/839/10 vol.II dated 27.03.2015.
My employee no. is 50807017686 bill unit 0819-392 in P-6 level.
After posting as MCF ,I was claiming the Travelling allowance at the rate of 510 rs/- but from last January 2017 suddenly administration is giving me TA at the rate of 315 rs/-instead of the rate 510rs/-after claiming at rate of 510rs/-.
Why I am getting a financial loss in every month due to irresponsible behavior of dealing clerk.
Please take action in this matter.

Basic pension in Dec 2015 = Rs 11660.00
Commutation = Rs 2613.00
Pension after commutation = Rs 9050.00
Net pension in Dec 2015 will be = 9050 + 119 % of 11660 = Rs 22922.00

On Jan 2016 my basic pension in 7th pc will be = 2.57 x 11660 = Rs 29966.00
After commutation = 29966 – 2613 = Rs 27353.00
Net pension in June 2017 will be = 27353 + 4 % of 29966 = Rs 28551.00
But in June 2017, I am getting pension Rs 25813.00, a loss of Rs 2738
(Rs 28551.00 – Rs 25813.00 = Rs 2738)
Why it is so sir ?
Hence I request you to please look into the matter and solve my problem.
