Setting up of 8th CPC: The Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers is demanding the formation of the 8th Pay Commission and the abolition of NPS, DA/DR arrears. Instead of setting a pay commission it will be better the merging of 50percentof da with BP To compensate the inflation an Interim Relief should be paid for the employees and that amount will give some relief I Hereafter their should be only one FITMENT FACTOR for all employees it will give equal its to compensate the inflation

The duration of pay commission should be reduced to Five years Each pay commission will take two years for select the firmer factor. More over the arrears of pay commission not disbursed to the employees by some state It is better if the da cross fifty percent mark new pay commission will solve the financial problems of the employees due to the inflation

Government has issued orders long time back that the pension of central government employees who retired on or after 1.1.2006 and who have put in service of 20 years or more, will be fixed at 50 percent of last pay drawn or average of the last 10 months whichever is more beneficial. But the pre-2006 pensioners have been excluded from this benefit. Honourable Supreme Court of India has already decided in favour of pensioners in the case of The Manipur Pensioners Association versus Government of Manipur. When will the government issue orders in this behalf for pre-2006 pensioners? Has any Association/Federation of Government Employees/Pensioners taken up the case with the Government?
