Salary Increment Table for Pay Matrix Level 6 (GP 4200) in 2025: The Salary Calculation for Level 6 in the Pay Matrix, effective from June 2025. Based on the information provided, your Basic Salary according to the 7th Pay Commission is Rs. 35,400, and your Pay Matrix Level is Level 6 (with a Grade Pay of 4200). The salary package is determined based on the rules for House Rent Allowance and the conditions for Transport Allowance. Monthly Salary Calculation of basic pay Rs. 35,400 Level 6 (4200 GP) for the employees working in the Y Class (HRA 18%) and TPTA Classified cities as on 29th June 2025.

Basic Pay: Rs. 35,400
DA (55%): Rs. 19,470
HRA (Class Y 20%): Rs. 7,080
TA: Rs. 3,600
DA on TA: Rs. 1,980
Gross Salary: Rs. 67,530

Monthly Salary Calculation of basic pay Rs. 35,400 Level 6 (4200 GP) for the employees working in the Z Class (HRA 9%) and TPTA Classified cities as on 29th June 2025.

Basic Pay: Rs. 35,400
DA (55%): Rs. 19,470
HRA (Class Z 10%): Rs. 3,540
TA: Rs. 1,800
DA on TA: Rs. 9,90
Gross Salary: Rs. 61,200

7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix Increment Table for Level 6 (GP 4200)

The Pay Matrix Increment Table for Level 6 (GP 4200) as laid out by the 7th Pay Commission is as follows:
At the sixth stage of the pay matrix table, which corresponds to the first stage of the second pay band, we have ‘Pay Matrix Level 6’. The minimum basic salary for this level is Rs. 35,400, while the maximum basic salary is Rs. 1,100. Employees at this level can expect a minimum increment of Rs. 11,2400 and a maximum increment of Rs. 3,300.
