“Haryana Govt employees to get new HRA rates as per 7th CPC at par with Central Government employees”
The State Government of Haryana announced on Saturday to revise the rates House Rent Allowance to State Government employees as per 7th Pay Commission.
The new pattern of House Rent Allowance would be implemented with effect from 1st August, 2019.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced a significant pay hike for nearly 3.5 lakh state government employees from next month.
All Central Government employees are getting new and revised rates of HRA as per the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission from 1st July, 2017.
The revised rates of HRA Table:
City Classification | HRA Rates |
‘X’ Cities | 24% of Basic Pay |
‘Y’ Cities | 16% of Basic Pay |
‘Z’ Cities | 8% of Basic Pay |
The rates of HRA will not be less than Rs.5400/-, 3600/- & 1800/- at X, Y & Z class cities respectively.
The rates of HRA will be revised to 27%, 18% and 9% for X, Y & Z class cities respectively when Dearness Allowance (DA) corsses 25 percent and further revised to 30%, 20% and 10% when DA corsses 50%.
