No Filing Required for Public Servants’ Assets/Liabilities
The Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013 has been amended, and the new Section 44 states that public servants are no longer obligated to file Declarations of Assets and Liabilities. The government is currently working on a new set of rules that will outline the form, manner, and deadline for filing these declarations. Once these rules are finalized, all public servants will be required to submit the declarations as per the new guidelines.
