R.Thandavakrishnan says
I am one amoung the pre-2006 Retiree.s..After dismissing
all SLPs,The Hon’ble Supreme court Bench directed the Pension
Dept of central Govt to revise the pension of all pre-2006 retirees from 1-1-2006 and pay the arrears from 1-1-2006 to 23-09-2012 within 4 months from 17-03-2015.as requested by the counsel of central Govt. The previous Govt had already refixed the pension of all pre-2006 retirees as on 24-09-2012and arrears paid vide OM dated 28-1-2013..The pension already fixed on 24-9-2012 WILL NOT change on 1-1-2006.
Hence the question of refixation of pension does not arise.
The Dept has to issue an one line order that the date of effect mentioned in the OM dated 28=1-2013 is .MODIFIED as from 1-1-2006 TO 23-9-2012,and refixation is to be done as per the annexure enclosed with the OM dated28-1-2013..
Morethan two months lapsed from the date of judgement.
ORDERhas not been issued till date. Now my age is 8O. Similarly most of pre-2006 retirees are in the age group of 70 s,80 s.We are all expecting the arrears to clear the dues taken for the Higher education of children/marriage and
medical treatment.IT will take minimum of 4 to 6 months to receive the payment, from the date of order.
Will the authoritees may kindly arrange to issue the order
without any further delay.?
IF the Dept issue an intimation regarding at what stage the issue of the order stands in the Central Govt Employees News& tools website, all pre-2006 retirees will know the position.WILL THE DEPT DO THIS?
