Dearness Allowance (DA) Rate Chart for Telangana Govt Employees and Pensioners
The State Government of Telangana issued orders on 19th January 2022 regarding the hike of Dearness Allowance for its employees with effect from 1st July 2021. After revoking of freezing of Dearness Allowance, the DA has been enhanced to 17.29% from the existing rate of 7.28%.
This DA hike is applicable to those employees who are in the Revised Pay Scales 2022. And the revision of Dearness Allowance is also applicable for the employees of Zilla Parishads, Mandal Parishads, Gram Panchayats, Municipalities, Municipal Corporations, Agriculture Market Committees, and Zilla Grandhalya Samasthas, Work Charged Establishment, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Aided Institutions including Aided Polytechnics, Universities and who are all drawing the pay in a regular scale of pay in the Revised Pay Scales 2020.
The Dearness Allowance shall be paid along with the salary of January 2022 payable on the 1st of February, 2022. The arrears on account of payment of Dearness Allowance for the period from 1st of July, 2021 to 31st December, 2021 shall be credited to the General Provident Fund Account of the respective employees.
