Karnataka Government Dearness Allowance Rate Chart
Dearness Allowance is provided for Karnataka Government employees and pensioners to compensate for the price hike of essential commodities. All State Governments in India are following the same methodology as the Central Government in declaring Dearness Allowance to their employees! State Government has no separate calculation method for deciding the percentage of additional Dearness Allowance. After declaring the Dearness Allowance by the Central Government, almost all State Governments are following the same decision of their employees and pensioners.
The Government of Karnataka enhanced the Dearness Relief from the existing rate of 27.25% to 31% with effect from 1.7.2022 on revised basic pension/family pension to their pensioners/family pensioners. The revised DA rates also are applicable to the retired employees who were on the UGC/AICTE/ICAR Scale of Pay.

The provided table displays the updated pay scale percentages for regular Karnataka government teachers under UGC, ICAR, and AICTE. These percentages are effective as of various dates from July 2019 to July 2022. As per the table, the most recent percentage increase of 38% was implemented on July 1, 2022.
