Subject: Requirement of taking prior permission for leaving station/ headquarters from going abroad while on leave.
Undersigned is directed to say that a need for further streamlining the procedure for grant of permission for going abroad on private visit has been felt. station/headquarters while on leave (other than going abroad), if yes, under which rule. Please clarify.
No. For the purpose of duty releaving letter should be given before going on leave/LTC it should be granted. In this application our address should be given. In some of the emergency/essential serviceses address is necessary, now a days with mobile number/email id is required. Actually our salaries are given for upto 24 hours. At the time of death the pension is treated for full day upto the midnight 24.00 hours.
