Wrong messages are forwarding in Social Media to postpone the annual increment for all groups of Central Government Employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The PIB Fact Check issued a clarification as follows:

Claim: @DoPTGoI Citing media reports claiming, the Central Government postponed the wage hike until next year.

FactCheck: The order relates to APAR completion and deadline extension, not increment. Wrong facts have been explained in the report.
