Life Certificate – Last Date to Submit Extended to 31 December 2020

Submission of life certificate for pensioners extended from 1st October to 31st December 2020

The timeline for submission of life certificates for pensioners has been extended from 1st October to 31st December 2020.

In a tweet, Minister of State for personnel Dr Jitendra Singh said, the decision to extend the timeline for submission of life certificate was taken in view of the vulnerability of elderly population to Coronavirus. He said, the pensioners in the age group of 80 years and above can submit their life certificate till 31st December this year.

He said, all Central government pensioners can submit their life certificate from 1st November onwards till 31st December 2020.

The Minister said, during the extended period, pensioners will continue to get their pension uninterrupted.
