It is recommended that all Regional Offices/ZIETs organize the Pension Adalat no later than March 24, 2023.
The Ministry of Education has issued a letter (No.17-07/2022-UT.1 INS-5) dated 20th February 2023, which forwards a DO letter dated 5th January 2023 from the Dept. of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare. The forwarded letter directs all organizations to hold a Nationwide Pension Adalat during the third week of March 2023 in order to promptly resolve any grievances from pensioners within the guidelines and policies in place.
As such, all Regional Offices/ZIETs are advised to conduct the Pension Adalat preferably on or before 24th March 2023. An initial notice announcing the Pension Adalat should be published on the websites of Regional Offices, indicating that aggrieved pensioners may submit their grievances via email. Only grievances following the extant Pension Policy /Rules/Guidelines are to be taken up in the Adalat, with cases from the previous Adalat and Family Pension cases given priority. If resolution is required by KVS(HQ), this should be forwarded to KVS (HQ) at email ID pensionadalatkvshq@gmail.com along with comments of RO, latest by 17th March 2023.
The letter’s contents should be circulated among all KVs within your jurisdiction, and published on official websites for pensioners’ information. After conducting the Adalat, the necessary information should be submitted to this office in the enclosed format by 29th March 2023 through email.
