Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers on Base 2001=100
The All-India CPI-IW for August, 2016 decreased by 2 points and pegged at 278 (two hundred and seventy eight). On 1-month percentage change, it decreased by (-) 0.71 per cent between July, 2016 and August, 2016 when compared with the increase of (+) 0.38 per cent between the same two months a year ago.

Central Government has a proposal to Pay 1% DA from July 2016 as an interim Measure
DA from July 2016 in 7th pay Commission is 2% or 3%
I am a Reservist pensioner from Navy. I served as Leading Telegraphist at the time when my engagement expired in August 1968. I was Reservist upto August 1978 and was granted Reservist Pension. My pension was fixed at ₹3500 in 6th pay commision.
At present I am drawing same pension.
I want to have clarification on following points…
1. As to why OROP benefit was not given to me.
2. Why my pension was not fixed as per 7th CPC so far. I made enquiries with my bank but the bank. hasn’t received. any orders from Defence Ministry.
