Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announces a 4% Dearness Allowance (DA) hike for all government employees and teachers in the state from 1.1.2023. This is a welcome move by the state government as it will provide much needed financial relief to the employees and teachers of the state.
4% Additional DA from 1st Jan 2023
The 4% additional DA hike announced by the Chief Minister will have a positive impact on the lives of government employees and teachers in Tamil Nadu. The 4% increment in DA wit effect from 1st January 2023. This increase in DA will help them to meet their daily expenses and also provide them with some additional income to save for their future. This will also help to reduce the financial burden on the state government as it will be able to provide better salaries to its employees and teachers.
38% DA to Govt Employees & Teachers
The recent 4% hike in Dearness Allowance to State Government employees, teachers, pensioners and family pensioners in Tamil Nadu is a welcome move! The total DA has now increased to 38%. The amount of DA/DR will be calculated based on the basic pay or basic pension.
