A copy of Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare OM No. 1/13/09- P&PW(E) dated 28th April 2011 & 11th September 2013 on the above subject are forwarded herewith for your information and necessary action in the matter.
2. MoD (Fin/Pen) has been consulted
CPF deceased beneficiaries will be very few in our country. This is an old pension. In 6th cpc also there was no improvement. This pension amount also will be less. Hardly Rs.3000/- may be.per month. If the age limit is exempted as family pension in such cases Unmarried daughter/widow/divorcee,of no other income, Unemployed mentally retarded persons and unemployed physically challenged persons.who can comeout from darkened lives….. It will be suggestable to give pension to the widowed/divered daughter who are in helpless condition regarding cpf exgratia pension fordeceased beneficiaries.
