Dopt issued orders and clarifications on various subjects for Central Government employees from time to time. CCS Rule, MACP Rule, LTC Rule, Leave Rules and Fixation of pay on promotion or MACP.  Every pay commission introduced and recommended different rules on pay and allowances, accordingly, Dopt is providing all revised rules and regulations to all Ministries and Deaprtments then and three.

After the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, this Department’s role is very crucial to amend the pay fixation rules for Central Government employees. Mainly focus on pay matrix, 2 increment dates, FR22(I)(a)1 Rule, fitment factor adopting, bunching of pay and fixation of pay on promotion or MACP.
