8th Central Pay Commission: Office Accommodation Allotted & NC JCM Drafting Committee Meeting: The Government of India has officially allotted the office accommodation for the 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC). The newly assigned office space is located at:

Chandralok Building, Janpath, New Delhi – 110001

8th CPC Office to Begin Functional Operations Soon

Once the 8th CPC office becomes operational, it is expected that the Commission will call for memorandums related to common service matters of Central Government employees from various staff associations, unions, and federations.

To ensure timely preparation, the NC JCM (Staff Side) has initiated the drafting process for the official memorandum that will represent the interests of Central Government employees.

Drafting Committee Meeting Scheduled

To prepare for the submission of the memorandum, the NC JCM (Staff Side) has scheduled a meeting of the Drafting Committee. The details are as follows:

• Venue: 13-C, Ferozshah Road, New Delhi
• Date: 25th February 2026
• Time: 10:30 AM
• Purpose: To discuss and finalize the process and modalities of drafting the memorandum for submission to the 8th CPC

Week-Long Stay Required for Committee Members

The drafting committee members have been requested to remain in New Delhi for a period of one week starting from 25th February 2026. During this period, committee members will:

• Discuss key issues affecting Central Government employees
• Finalize topic-wise proposals
• Draft and refine the official memorandum to be submitted to the 8th CPC

Members are therefore advised to plan their travel and stay arrangements accordingly.

The allotment of office accommodation marks a significant step in the functioning of the 8th Central Pay Commission.
