Reply:Where is the question of stoppage of increment from 6th CPC. There’s no question of pay scales ending , only basic pay plus GP 3% increments. In the the 7th CPC 40 stages of increment in most of the matrix levels. |

Comment:Sir, I got my 1st MACP on 28.04.2007 and am due for GP 5400 from 28.04.2011, however since i had been given a minor penalty of stoppage of one increment without cumulative effect in the year 2011, my office is saying i can get effect of GP 5400 only from July 2012. Is it correct? |

Comment: An official is on leave during entire month with prefixing and suffixing closed holidays (i.e. Saturdays and Sundays). Whether Transport allowance is payable to him for that calender month. As per the transport allowance order, it indicates that if absence a calender month wholly covered by leave transport allowance is not payable. Whether Saturday and Sunday will also count this purpose. Kindly clarify. |

Reply:This is to inform you that from the 6th CPC & 7th CPC there is no pay scales for the promotional posts. You mentioned as 35400-112400 that was not for your O’S.post it was matrix table 6. Now-a-days (promotion) upgradation basic pay fixation of MACP on completion of 10th year only. So your pay fixation only from the GP 2800 to 4200 after the completion 10 year from that date of your joining date only. If you got in the middle as promotion O.S. there will be no monitory benefit only your designation changes as O.S. Normal increment on 1/7/18 as Rs.45,400 in level 5 only after 2nd MACP on completion of 20th year as level changes to 6 (GP 4600) and basic pay will be fixed at that time. |

Now I have promoted to the post of OS in the 7th pay commission having pay scale 35400-112400(level 6) accordingly joined duties on 10.1.18 and I was drawing a pay of rs.45400/ before my promotion I opted fixation after my normal increment due on July 18. How my pay will be regulated and what will be my pay on promotion on 1.7.18 and 1.7.19 Whether i will be entitled for notional increment on my promotion as OS. |

Comment: In reply to Sapna. After 5th pay commission, every emoyee who retires (after becoming eligible for pension), can get full pension (i.e., 50% of 10 months average pay before the retirement or last month’s pay whichever is higher). Hence the question of full pension has been relinked with the number of years of service. However, you would be loosing pension component of the increments that you would be earning had you been in service and retire at superannuation. |
