7th CPC Risk and Hardship Matrix – R2H3 (R2 Medium H3 Low)

7th Pay Commission recommended just two slabs for each allowance–with one rate for officers and a lower rate for PBORs. Most of the existing relativities have been maintained.

R2H3
Pay Matrix Level 9 and above: Rs. 3400 pm
Pay Matrix Level 8 and below: Rs. 2700 pm

The cell does not subsume any of the allowances currently paid.

The rate is the same as for Cell R3H2.

An RHA based on the rates of this allowance should be granted to the firefighting staff in the Central Government.
