7th Pay Commission Latest New and Revised Pay Scale for UGC Professor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Teachers in Universities and Colleges as per the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission
Department of Higher Education published an important order on 2.11.2017 regarding the pay revision of teachers and equivalent cadres in Universities and Colleges as per the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission.
As per the order, Pay Review Committee constituted by the UGC and taken decision on the recommendations of PRC on 22.2.2017 to revise the pay scale of teachers in the Higher Educational Institutions under the purview of the UGC.
7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix for the professors working in SPA, NIFFT, CIT, SLIET, NERIST, NITTTR, GKCIET is started with the pay level of 10, 11, 12, 13A1, 14 and 15.
Whereas, the pay matrix table is littel bit different form the above said pay matrix for the professors working in IIT, IIS, IIM, NITIE, IISER, NIT AND IIIT. Thier pay level is started with 10, 11, 12, 13A1, 13A2, 14, 14A and 15.
The revised pay structure is applicable from 1.1.2016.
