New TS Govt DA from 1.7.2021
The Telangana State Government has declared an increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) of its employees from 17.29% to 20.02% of their basic pay as of 1st July 2021. This revised Dearness Allowance shall also apply to Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of Aided Institutions, including Aided Polytechnics, and Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Universities who are drawing a regular salary in the Revised Pay Scales, 2020. The arrears for the period from 1st July 2021 to 31st December 2022 will be credited to the employee’s General Provident Fund Account. However, for employees retiring on or before May 31st, 2023, the arrears of Dearness Allowance shall be paid directly since they are exempt from contributing to the General Provident Fund during their final four months of service.
2.73% Additional DA from 1.7.2021
The Telangana State Government has set a Dearness Allowance (DA) of 20.02% of basic salary for its employees, effective from 1 July 2021, with an additional 2.73% increment. The Department of Finance issued an order on 23 January 2023, stipulating payment for all the applicable staff.
