Tamil Nadu Government Dearness Allowance Table 2021
Chennai 7 Sep 2021: The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Stalin announced today that the increased percentage of Dearness Allowance to all State Government employees and pensioners will be issued in the month of January 2021.

Enhanced Rates of DA for TN Govt Employees, Pensioners and Family Pensioners
The Government of Tamil Nadu, Finace Department issued orders to enhanced rate of Dearness Allowance payable to its employees from the existing rate of 7% to 9% with effect from 1st July 2018 and 12% with effect from Jan 2019.
Dearness Allowance payable to State Government employees and teachers from the existing rate of 9% to 12% with effect from 1st January 2019.
Dearness Allowance payable to its Pensioners / Family Pensioners from the existing rate of 9% to 12% with effect from 1st January 2019.
The payment of arrears of Dearness Allowance from January, 2019 to April, 2019 shall be drawn and disbursed immediately by existing cashless mode of Electronic Clearance System (ECS).
Dearness Allowance to its employees continuing to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay scales as per Fifth Central Pay Commission from 284% to 295% with effect from 1st January 2019 and in the pre-revised pay scale/Grade Pay as per Sixth Central Pay Commission from 148% to 154% with effect from 1st January 2019.
