7th Pay Commission Date for implementation 11.10.2013
7th Pay Commission Date for implementation
Till this moment, the oral announcement only made by the Finance Minister to constitute 7th CPC for Central Government employees. There is no further action to constitute the committee for 7th CPC and we cannot say anything about the members of the committee and when it will be constituted.
Thee is no authentic information about the date to constitute the committee for preparing recommendations for 7th CPC. However, the committee will take maximum of 24 months to submit their recommendation report to Indian Government. The implementation of the 7th CPC is likely to be implemented from 1st January, 2016 to all Central government employees.
Not only the Central government employees, all government servants including their family members are keenly watching the news about 7th Central Pay Commission, because the same procedure / recommendations of Central Pay Commission are followed by state government to their employees.
Revision of pay has been implemented by the government once in ten years through the pay commissions and an employee can get a maximum of three pay hike in entire service. So, it is very excited to know the details of modifications in all the respect of pay.

Neelam A. Biala, Advocate High Court, Nagpur says
The 7th. CPC should be headed by a sitting senior Judge of Supreme Court. It should not have any member from any of the All India Service cadre. In the 6th. CPC Members of Commission single handedly garnered unbelievable benefits for them irrespective of the work. There is no dearth of some All India Service Cadres who earn up to Rs. 1.50 lakh p.m. highly disproportionate to the quantum of work. They are burden on Govt. exchequer. Pay rise given to them was highly irrational and unwarranted. On the contrary, the ground level staff went unrewarded for the efforts made by them while on duty, e.f. armed forces, paramilitary jawans, forest ground staff etc.

It is all about serving employees. No mention of retired central govt employees and their families which may comes to 30 lkhs or so. First: medical treatment to retired employees and their families who are residing out side CGHS areas? They are being paid Rs.300 p.m. Whether it is sufficient for treatment? NOT AT ALL..Ex servicemen are also central govt retired employees only the difference is that one with uniform and other without. Since 1971 there is no war. But defense personnel are paid good salary than their counter part civilians. No need to tell the welfare and promotion opportunities in the Army. Ex servicemen are getting better treatment in the recognized private hospitals. The moot question as to how and why the same hospitals are not recognized for treatment (OP and IP) for retired central govt employees and their families too? The reason- those who are residing in Delhi getting better medical treatment in AIIMS and other prestigious private hospitals. So nobody is care about the retired central govt employees living in the villages which are not covered in CGHS areas. The 6th and 5th CPC had recommended for providing cashless treatment. But govt have no idea to accept the commendations and vows of those retired employees. Whether at least 7th CPC will do anything and the govt at central. There is no voice from the concerned associations. That is the real reason.

i do agree with you.. No pay commission or any govt. agency is interested in the betterment of retired employees (especially civilian) lifestyle. The retired employees have to be given something more for the meritorious service they have rendered to the nation.
