The baby rattle handed over to short service commissioned officers (14 Years) in the form of ECHS services is pointless and appears to be an attempt to cheat. Seniors please touch upon the following if possible:-

    1. One time subscription fee is same for PC officers and SSC officers but the benefit for SSC officers (14 Years) is of only 75% and the dependent child is not covered.
    2. Minor child (6 Years of age) can not avail mediclaim policy outside as a minor alone is not covered by any of the insurance providers presently in the country.
    3. In case ESM and their spouse choose to avail this facility what is the provision for dependent child? Isn’t this essentially mean that the child either remains uncovered or one of the parents chooses not to avail the ECHS facility?
    4. I have been informed by the nodal center that even if we avail ECHS subscription, in case of hospitalization only CGHS rates will be reimbursed and not 75% of the overall cost incurred at the empanelled hospital?

Can anybody justify me that the Jawan who are dying daily at war front for the sake of our country are getting MSP of Rs. 5200 and a nurse is getting MSP of Rs 10500 who all r just serving at just any defence hospital without any risk of life. Have any body ever heard that an MNS died in war or at war front? Whatever they do, all r & can be done by medical staff(PBOR).

Oh yes Mr I have heard MNS Officers being martyred and there are names being engraved in walls of India Gate. And for your kind information its not MNS rather MNS Officers. Get your tiny thinking broadened and stop acting like a stupid male chauvinist. N moreover why are so eager for an MNS Officers to die in a war front when they are not being treated as combatant. I’m sure once u or your dependents get sick won’t you be in the mercy of an MNS Officer to get well soon. So rather being investing your energy on something you can’t change, just be satisfied with your life and stop being greedy.LOL.

My dear, you are highly mistaken. A medical assistant is a pbor who is a nursing assistant in the army. MNS officers are commisioned officers of the indian armed forces who are appointed by the president of india by official gazzet. Nursing assistants in army and medical asdistants in air force are their subordinates. Be it qualification, responsibilities, duties or any other proffesional task performed by them, there cant be a compariso. You need to widen your horizon. In all the developed nations with regular armed forces, nursing officers are at par with other offrs of the organisation they are the heads of the med administration. when you dont have any knowledge abt this service, pls keep your comments to yourself.

Nursing and medicine are two parallel professions. Nursing offrs work with medical officers not as their subordinates. You need to make your facts straight. Pls dont comment when you have either shallow knowledge or no knowledge at all abt this service. This is not civil that you start comparing medicine and nursing. Its defence and here all have their roles to play , separately as well as in harmony.

MNS officers are among all other officers of the Indian Army. They should not be reffered as the auxillary core. Agreed this is a different core but as like other cores as well. We have many different cores in Indian Army and other defence services, but all other core have their different responsibilites and every core is capable of fulfilling their responsibilities. It dosnt means one core is high in status and other is low in status, as all of them have commissioned ranks produced by the president of India to the. All of them are officiers. Defence is a family who are always working for their country and people with whole dedication and MNS officers are a part of this family which cant be neglected.
AMC officers cannot do the work of MNS officers. They cannot sit in the ward looking after the 30-40 patients at a time for more than 12 hours. Similary MNS officers cannot do AMC’s work. So MNS officers are not an auxiliary core. They are seperate core with different set of responsibilities but are similar to those of AMC officers. If all MNS officers will discontinue their services all at once in all India, will AMC officers can continue MNS officers work???
MNS officers are also not considered for their leave break ups why..??
They are asked to plan and tell about their leaves 1 year back and are asked to take all their leaves all at once. I mean how nonsense is this. Leave plan is fine but forcing to take the all leaves that also in one shot. If any emergency or any other family function is happenig in shot span of time, then how they will join their family for the same.

In a family father is the head of the family who earns the money for his family after a hard work of the whole day and mother is making food for the the whole family and helping father and children in their work also. So if the Mother should be called an auxiliary member of the family. “NO” right..!!!
The same are the MNS officers also.

We think the same should be revised by the government and MNS officers should be given the 7th CPC benifits as along other core officers because they are serving like other military officers in all manners (night shift, posting, feild areas etc) with full dedication. Also government should consider below:
MNS officers dress should be matched with all other officers of different cores so that no one get a chance to differentiate in relation to status and core.
MNS officers should get considered for their leaves and other family plannings as same as other core officers.
MNS officers should not be reffered by auxillary core.

It is an offence that is done by the seniors of defence that the government of india is accepting and doing nothing. Women empowerment should must as all MNS officers are females.

    Jai Hind.!

MNS officers do their duties parellel with the AMC officers. They all are posted in all the hospitals even in the field hospitals. MNS officers are compared with the civillian counterpart for the pay matters but they do compare on the duty and posting part. civillian counterpart do duty 8 hrs simple duty and remain posted near to their home town with their family members whereas MNS officers get their postings all over India in high terrian, border area hospitals. they remain away from their families once get posted border area hospitals. It is injustified move not give them equal benifits.
It is stated that they are auxillary force of Army, It is not true they were referred as auxillary force only because they do their duties with all the three wings (Army,Navy and Air force). As Air force is also known as Auxillary Force because while defending the Sky they help Army and Navy in need. So they should not denied for the same pay structure on the part of Auxillary Force they are as good as other Army Officers. In vii pay commission The multiplcation factor used for MNS officers is 2.75 and for other Officers is 2.67 while quite injustified.
MNS officers are all Womens Officer wing of Indian Army so the justice to be done to them to give them parity with other officers of Army.

MNS Officers and AMC officers are working in the same environment and hence denying the benefits of 7th pay commission to MNS officers under army rule 17 is ridiculous and totally unjustified. On one hand we are taking for empowerment of women and the army, particularly the AMC bosses have shamelessly managed to downgrade the MNS officers ( all women cader) and denied them the 7th pay commission benefits under army rule 17.
MNS officers are very much part of army. I hope the Government revisits the issue and rectify the mistake and extend the benefits of 7th pay commission under army rule 17 to the MNS officers.

In developed countries, Military Nursing Officers are getting an equal status and respect with the other officers. There is no discrimination in salary and uniform. In U.S. Nursing Officers are commissioned officers and they are the part of the regular Army. Why the male dominated Indian Army is keeping jealousy and egoism towards the commissioned rank of MNS ?

A Nursing officer is one of the important part of the Indian Armed Forces. They do their duties with lot of sacrifice and 100% dedication. But somewhere, even after being
daughter of the nation, a Commisioned officer, who is serving the countrys as equal as the other Army officers, She is still struggling for equal recognition in the forces.
And now, these daughters have been excluded from the 7th pay commision so called Army pay rule 2017.
    Its really disappointing!
and shame on the government and beurocrats who has isolated them from army pay rules 2017

Really Indian Male will not show maturity if it is a matter of female. I read all the comments about women and MNS officers. Nobody support them, specially army people. It feel like that they are jealous to them. Few points must read :

    1) MNS officers are mostly employed for 14 years and they are also not eligible for pension whereas all others in army are eligible.

    2) Many military male raises questions for the death troll of MNS officers during war and other fights, but they forget , MNS are employed to save you and your family. And life saving is more holy work on earth.

    3) MNS officers are also posted in J& K , Siachin and other parts of India which is not safe for all. But along with Jawans , they All are posted without any mercy.

    4) MNS officers are more qualified then all the Jawans and other officers also. Officers eligibility is graduation 10+2+3 whereas , they are graduated by 10+2+4 along with experience. So they are highly educated in defence job. They also incur huge fees for their study of Nursing course.

5)Duty timing is also very odd for them but they have no complaints.

    6) In all the areas they are best but then also they had not been considered for New Army Pay Rule 2017. But still they have not raised any questions.

So if we go in details there are a lot of things could go in favor of MNS officers but it has no use if Jawans does not respect them and officers help them instead of pulling their legs.

When a jawan,or his father is admitted ,who is giving care? During that time ,even wife,or daughter or son feels difficult to look after. They r ready to go home rather than sitting for an hour with pt.How dare to give such comment? nurses r greater than their beloved ones…

Mr Ravi, such comments show your conservative approach towards women. How much you know about MNS officers. They attend their duty at 7:30 am, they attend more thank 30/50 patients of defence people, takes care of your family including your parents. They do 15 days night duty in every 2 months. Most of the MNS officers are staying away from her family due to duties timing. During any incidence they present in ward for continuing 24 hrs. If you will compare with the other nations, Nursing Officers are paid 3 times more but in India still they are fighting for their rights and status. You people always pull legs of the women, due to which women are behind after getting so much better results in all the aspects of life. And please do not insult the core of MNS or be ready for trial in court to defame the core.

To such an article, where the people who comment are less aquainted with the language and claim to know everything about MNS Officers must cease to speak such irrelevant things. Firstly, MNS is the core and not officer herself, secondly nobody has got the right to defame any core with terms such as “useless” because it is a punishable offence if someone does so. Third and the most important point, valor doesn’t only lie in being martyred but also in offering day and night service at probable unsafe zones like Kargil, Durgmula, Rajouri, Srinagar, Poonch sector, Chakrata, Tenga (Assam) etc leaving their families, and leading a life not less difficult that others who stay there. Then why shouldn’t they be considered for MSP? When the injured soldiers from posts come, they first meet these brave ladies who help them survive till they reach to the tertiary centre and people ask why they should be given facilities?
To all those cowards out there who find women incompetent and less deserving, tell me why the battle cry says- “Bharat Mata ki Jai”. When you seek power from mother, then do not insult another mother who has left her family, just because when the Brave soldiers need care, they are there to serve and perform their duties which they even keep above their love for family and beyond anything, their life. Who knows what will happen next, but they know, they will do their duty with Smile.

MSP is not justified correctly since beginning. Pay commission not reviewed the fact. Simply carry forward with multiple amount. Amongst defence personal who lives in hardship. How many MNS have died yet during military operations. How much they involved in real action as compared to medical assistant/men. You will find they are useless highly paid. Of course Doctor do. Actually these trend were started by English ruller and blindly it is being followed. MNS counterpart in civil must be kept in mind regarding pay structure. For the “JAWANS” it is same full one MNS is getting more MSP. Attest it should be equal. It’s question of morality.

You people are really existing in your shell… neither gonna understand or try to understand the fact…you can’t compare a civil nurse with an MNS Nursing officer.have u ever been into an ICU or any other ward set up ..even if u try to spot these doctors and med asst , you will not be able to find the care and support that given by these hardworking souls . you can’t imagine how much they work regardless of their own health, family life . You people are just easily comparing it with an entirely different aspect of defence.
