Deputation (Duty) Allowance: Revised Rates for JCOs/OR

The deputation (duty) allowance, which is a monetary benefit given to Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks (OR) for undertaking temporary duty assignments, has recently undergone a revision in its rates. This revised allowance takes into account the changing nature of duties and responsibilities assigned to JCOs and ORs during their temporary postings. The new rates aim to better compensate these individuals for their efforts while on deputation and ensure that they are able to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.

• An option to draw either
• 50% of Deputation Duty Allce applicable to Civilians Officers alongwith service concession
• 100% of Deputation Duty Allce, but forego the service concession.
