Pay Structure for Defence Forces Personnel – Pay Matrix
The Defence Services in their Joint Services Memorandum have contended that the emoluments in the Defence Services should stand a fair comparison with what is available in the Civil Services, otherwise the Defence Services will be denied their legitimate share of the available talent pool.
5.2.2 The Commission has devised pay matrices for civil and defence forces personnel, after wide ranging feedback from multiple stakeholders. The common aspects of the two matrices and the unique elements in the defence pay matrix are outlined in the succeeding paragraphs.

I am a pensioner. According to sixth pay commission it was fixed as 23050. Then I got 10% increase after attaining 75 years of age .Then another 10% increase on attaining 80 Years ,Further 10% on attaining 85 Years. That is 30% over 23050 that is now my basic pension is 29965. If it is multiplied by 2.57 it comes 77010 but in pay matrix it comes as Rs 78800. I request you kindly let me know what will be my pension 77010 Or 78800.

Dear sr please consider my point.that in defence medical officer are being paid Non practcing allowance 14000 per month+specialist pay around 3000 to 4000 per month.but for medical personal there is no allowance like this.atleast specialist med assistant should be prayed 2000 to 3000;as they are also performing on call duties like specialists medical officer are performing.so they should motivated for this type of duties.thanku sr

Sir,
Officers are respected but the JCOs (Bridge between the Officers and NCOs/OR) can not be neglected. Please review MSP and deliver justice.

why all are having hope on seventh pay commission. we will not get anything. see the illustration here. i am ex jwo, service done for 20 years in IAF from 1980 to 2000. my BP was shown as rs.6947/ in circular 547. that rs. 6947/ was never drawn by me as a pension anytime in the last 15 years. the figure is fabricated to the advantage of govt, so not to pay the pensioner any amount. now let me come to point. multiply this rs. 6947/- with 2.57, we will arrive at rs.. 17854. i am already drawing rs. 19097. say now, i will get rs. 1243/- less if 7th cpc is given effect. pre 2006 govinda. 7th cpc govinda. orop will also be govinda. orop table will come and they will show rs. 6946/ for me, so they need not to pay anything. this is 547 policy.useless govt and it’s financial terrorist staffs. i am fed up with them.
