What is DNI (Date of Next Increment) after fixation of promotion?
If your promotion on 1-7-20 is (third upgradations of basic pay in service) pay as on 1-1-2020 as on 35900 you will increment as 1-1-2021 as 37000 & DNI on 1-1-2022 as 38100. Promotion is on 1-7-20 you will get a promotional increment on 1-1-2021 only not on from that day. Anyhow your promotion on 1-7-2020 you have to give opinion increment from January. How to re-fixation of pay on regular promotion?
Since you got promoted from 1-1-2021 your designation will be as LDC but as per rules from 1-7-2021 as 2 increments (one normal 35000 /36100 in MATRIX LEVEL 3 (GP 2000) & DNI from 1-7-2022 as 36400 in MATRIX LEVEL 4 (GP 2400). [Click to read in details]
When will grant my 3rd MACP?
It may be in the year 2022 in MATRIX LEVEL 5 depends upon your month of joining. If it may be with 2 increments in July 2021 or January 2022 one increment in MATRIX LEVEL 4 & with one increment option January 22 or July 22 in MATRIX LEVEL 5 at located basic pay. [Click to read the Q&A]
Sir, I am a retired employee of CBIC. In 2002, I was promoted as Superintendent (GR-B)(7500-12000). As of 1.1.06, Basic pay was 17670+Grade pay-Rs.4800.First ACP was granted in 1999. 2nd ACP was granted in 2007(24yrs of service) with G.P. of Rs.5400 in PB-II. on 23.9.06, 3% NFSG was given after completion of 4 yrs of service and later on withdrawn.3rd MACP was granted in 2013(30 yrs of service) with GP of 6600/- in PB-III. Before my retirement, dept. refixed my pay as per CBIC clarification issued on 20.06.16 and again given me NFSG @ 3% w.e.f. 2006 and treated it as a financial up-gradation with GP of 5400 in PB-II.They have withdrawn my 3 rd MACP of 6600 and treated the 2nd ACP earlier given in 2007 as 3rd upgradation with GP of Rs.5400 in PB-III. Now, when I applied for stepping up of my pay at par with my junior who got 3rd MACP in 2016 and drawn one increment higher than me, dept. refused my demand on the plea that Iwas not granted 3rd MACP before 2016 and hence I am not entitled to stepping up of pay. Please examine the matter and advice suitably.
Mention your joining year with pay scale & retired month, year with last basic pay (if any Grade Pay that time).
ADMINISTRATION : One more think I mention you that retiring employees in between JANUARY to JUNE they cannot choose opinion increment of JULY it will loose one inc for their PROMOTION/MACP upgradations of basic pay fixation. Also it will also reflect of their PENSION. If they are getting two increments in JULY but they will not get the HIGHER MATRIX LEVEL increment of ensuring year (since they may not in service)..
