Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Approved Hospital List in Bihar
The CGHS is a comprehensive medical scheme, providing top-notch healthcare to both serving and retired Central Government employees and their kin. The scheme offers an array of facilities, including OPD treatment for medication-related issues, expert consultation at government hospitals, hospitalization at government and empanelled hospitals, and examinations at government and empanelled diagnostic centres. Pensioners and beneficiaries can enjoy cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals and diagnostic centres. In case of emergency treatment in unrecognized private hospitals, expenses incurred are reimbursed. Additionally, the scheme also provides reimbursement for expenses related to the purchase of hearing aids, medical aids, and artificial limbs. Family welfare and MCH services are also provided by the scheme.

CGHS Patna Hospital List and Rate List
Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) has recently given their seal of approval to a comprehensive array of hospitals in Patna, Bihar. The motive behind this scheme is to offer much-needed health care facilities to Central Government employees, pensioners, and their dependents. The network of 52 hospitals in Patna and 2 in Darbhanga will serve as an indispensable lifeline for these individuals. By providing a list of CGHS approved hospitals in Bihar, the scheme aims to guarantee that eligible beneficiaries have access to top-notch medical care services, whenever required.
BR CGHS Hospital List 2023
For the year 2023, the BR CGHS Hospital List has been updated to include other cities apart from Patna in Bihar. The list now comprises four more cities, namely Chhapra, Darbhanga, Gaya, Muzaffarpur. Central government employees and pensioners can now benefit from the CGHS facilities in these cities. This expansion of coverage is a positive move as it enables more individuals from these areas to have better access to healthcare services. It is noteworthy that CGHS covers 79 cities in India, and among them are 5 cities in Bihar.
