Minimum Pay Scale for UDC in Central Govt.
As per the revised Pay Rules 2016, the Pay of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) is fixed as Level 4 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Grade Pay Rs.2400 prescribed for Upper Division Clerk in Sixth CPC. The starting basic salary for UDC in Central Government is fixed as Level 4 in the 7th Pay Matrix with a minimum pay of Rs.25,500.

The starting basic salary for UDC in Central Government is fixed as Level 2 in the 7th Pay Matrix with a minimum pay of Rs.19,900.
