| Answer | From the 7th CPC no monitory benefits in promotions only designation changes higher. If not got any promotions after the completion of every 10th year upgradrations of basic pay as. MACP in next matrix level from the 11th year. |

| Question | Sir, I have joined as an assistant on 01.07.1994. first ACP was given to me on 20016 as a grade pay Rs. 4600.00. on .1..1.2014 I have got the promotion for the post of Superintendent with a grade pay of Rs. 4600.00. due to Family problem and financial crisis I forgo the same. Competent Authority informed me for debarred of one year. so the next MACP will be eligible for 2015 instead of 2014. on 2015 the concern department not submitted my file to the DPC. and after that on 2016 and 2017 no DPC were took place. on 01.04.2017 I have got the promotion but I forgo the same for the same reason. actually I was eligible to get the MACP on 2015. When the DPC took place on 2018 the Competent Authority denied to give the MACP. Sir please tell me where there I am eligible to get the MACP from 2015 or not as per 6 CPC. if not please clarify the details |

| Answer | Your basic pay with grade pay will be fixed as on 31/12/15 multiple by 2.57 and it will be fixed in level 12 matrix level as on 1/1/2016. After that from 1/7/16 as opted basic pay in level 13. Since you have not mentioned your basic pay it cannot be calculated. From 1/7/17 you will also get additional NPA if applicable. |

| Question | Sir, While availing LTC (other than home town), my family travelled via Chennai from home base (thiruvananthapuram) to Kolkata. However, since there were no LTC-80 tickets available, I had taken a normal ticket in Air India. However on the return journey, my family travelled on LTC-80 in Air India via Hyderabad (with certain amount of stay). And since there’s no direct flight back to my home base from Hyderabad, I had booked LTC-80 tickets in Air India via bangalore (connecting to home base) from Hyderabad. Is there any condition, restricting reimbursement in this case especially wrt to any direct routing to be followed or wrt onward journey followed (which is different than the return journey) or number of intermediate halts? (I have a screenshot specifying the LTC80 fare on the return leg via Chennai from Kolkata to home base). Please advice. Thank you |
