Govt declared on 25th November 2019 in Uttarakhand and West Bengal as paid holiday due to Bye elections
The Department of Personnel and Training issued notification on 18.11.2019 regarding bye elections will be held in the states of Uttarakhand and West Bengal.

As per the office memorandum, by-elections will be held on 25th November 2019 (Monday) in 3 State Legislative Assembly constituencies in West Bengal and one Assembly constituency in Uttarakhand. All Central and State Government employees including employees working in industrial establishments are granting paid holiday on the day of poll.
