Monthly Salary for CG Employees Pay Level 1 Rs 18000 in 2025: The first pay level (Grade Pay 1800) in Pay Band-1 (5200 to 20200) is the initial and lowest pay range in the 7th CPC pay structure. The basic salary range for Pay Matrix Level 1 commences at Rs 18,000 and concludes at Rs 56,900, containing 40 stages with yearly increments. Each annual increment amounts to a minimum of Rs 500, equivalent to approximately 3% of the basic pay.

Central Government employees’ monthly gross salary structure with a basic pay of Rs. 18000 in pay matrix level 1 has been calculated and presented in a table format. The table highlights the salary packages for employees working in different cities across India. The cities have been categorized into three segments for House Rent Allowance and two categories for Transport Allowance. This system was first introduced in the 6th Pay Commission and has since been implemented for Central Government employees as per the 7th Pay Commission recommendations from 1st Jan 2016.
