Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Approved Hospital List in Uttar Pradesh
CGHS is a healthcare program that caters to the medical requirements of the serving and retired Central Government employees and their family members. The scheme offers diverse amenities like OPD treatment for medication issues, specialist consultation at government hospitals, hospitalization at government and empanelled hospitals, and investigations at government and empanelled diagnostic centers. The pensioners and beneficiaries identified can take advantage of cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals and diagnostic centers. The expenses incurred for emergency treatment in private unrecognized hospitals are reimbursed. Furthermore, the expenses related to the purchase of hearing aids, artificial limbs and other related medical aids are also covered under the plan. CGHS also extends its services to family welfare and MCH programs.

CGHS Lucknow Hospital List and Rate List
The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) has given its seal of approval to a comprehensive catalogue of hospitals located in the Lucknow area of Uttar Pradesh. This move is intended to benefit Central Government employees, pensioners, and their dependents by providing them with access to essential healthcare facilities through a vast network of 56 hospitals located in Lucknow, and additional facilities in Bareilly, Gorakhpur, and Agra. The primary objective of this initiative is to guarantee that those entitled to it are able to receive first-rate medical treatment whenever the need arises.
UP CGHS Hospital List 2023
In the latest 2023 release, the UP CGHS Hospital List has been revised and now encompasses 11 more cities, namely Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad (Prayagraj), Baghpat, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Meerut, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Varanasi (Banaras), in addition to Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. This implies that Central government employees and pensioners in these locations can now use CGHS benefits. This extension of coverage is a welcome relief for eligible individuals, as it offers them greater access to healthcare services. Note that CGHS covers a total of 79 cities across India, including 12 cities within Uttar Pradesh.
