FR & SR Rules – What says Rules regarding increment..!

What says FR & SR Rules regarding increment..!

The Rules on R & SR – What do the Rules say about increments? What do the FR & SR Rules say about increments? The annual pay increase is automatically drawn from July 1st each year, except when it is withheld as a statutory punishment. If a government employee is on leave or taking joining time on July 1st, the increased pay will only be drawn from the date they resume duty and not from July 1st.

The annual increment will be 3% of the total pay in the current pay band and corresponding grade pay, rounded up to the nearest multiple of 10. When rounding off, paisa will be ignored, but any amount of a rupee or more will be rounded off to the nearest multiple of 10. The annual increment in pay will be drawn automatically from July 1st each year, except when it is withheld as a statutory punishment. If a government servant is on leave or taking joining time on July 1st, the increased pay will only be drawn from the date they resume duty and not from July 1st.

The service in a higher grade will count for increments in an officer and other employee’s substantive grade, as well as in the higher grade in which they are officiating. If there is an intermediate grade between the two, in which they would have officiated had they not been appointed to officiate in the higher grade, it will also count in the intermediate grade. However, the period during which an officer and other employee is on leave without pay will not count for increment unless authorized by the Authority for reasons to be recorded in writing.

The competent authority shall give sanction to draw increments. No increment shall be withheld except as a disciplinary measure under these regulations. Each order withholding an increment shall state the period for which it is withheld and whether the postponement shall have the effect of postponing future increments.

No. From the joining duty date you are eligible for next one increment only. In Maternity Leave alone eligible for increment but combined with CCL (total of more than 180 days any leave) increment will be given only from the joining date of duty.

No. After 180 days any kind of leave increment will not given. EOL without M.C it will not count in service, gratuity also not given for that period.

No. Also it will not count for gratuity & service. Regarding CCL : If it was first delivery you can avail it in second maternity leave or for both the children’s education & sick purposes upto the age of eighteen, it can be sanctioned.

Where is the question of stoppage of increment from 6th CPC. There’s no question of pay scales ending , only basic pay plus GP 3% increments. In the the 7th CPC 40 stages of increment in most of the matrix levels.

Old basic pay plus grade pay (total) multiply by 3% = Increment pay (including grade pay) For promotion basic pay plus new GP = total including new pay it will be given from the promotion date or from the JULY increment as per the option.

Madam, Increment increased 3% of your basic pay is not important comparing, during the period with your born baby’s happyness & heath is very important. Any how your salary will not affected. At that any how from July,19 D,A may also get it with arrears. Enjoy with baby. WITH BEST REGARDS.
