जहां तक 01 जनवरी, 2016 की स्थिति के अनुसार नए वेतन मैट्रिक्स में किसी कर्मचारी के वेतन निर्धारण का संबंध है, तो 31 दिसंबर, 2015 की स्थिति के अनुसार संशोधन-पूर्व संरचना में विद्यमान वेतन (वेतन बैंड में वेतन जमा ग्रेड वेतन) को 2.57 के गुणांक से गुणा किया जाएगा /

इस प्रकार प्राप्त राशि, नए वेतन मैट्रिक्स में कर्मचारी के वेतन बैंड और ग्रेड वेतन अथवा वेतनमान के अनुरूपी लेवल में तलाशी जानी है/ यदि इस प्रकार प्राप्त राशि के समरूप कोई कोष्ठिका समुचित लेवल में उपलब्ध है तो उसी कोष्ठिका को संशोधित वेतन माना जाएगा; अन्यथा उस लेवल में अगली उच्चतर कोष्ठिका को कर्मचारी का संशोधित वेतन माना जाएगा/
उक्त उप-पैरा(2) में यथा-विनिर्दिष्ट उपयुक्त लेवल में वेतन के निर्धारण के पश्चात् उसी लेवल में अगली वेतन वृद्धि, उसे लेवल में दी गई उससे ठीक अगली कोष्ठिका में दी जाएगी /
[भत्तों (महंगाई भत्ते को छोड़कर ) से संबंधित सिफारिशें वित्त सचिव एवं सचिव (व्यय) की अध्यक्षता में गठित एक समिति को भेजी जाएंगी जिसमें गृह, रक्षा, स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय, कार्मिक और प्रशिक्षण विभाग, डाक विभाग के सचिव और रेलवे बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष सदस्य के रूप में शामिल होंगे / समिति चार माह के अंदर अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करेगी /
इस समिति की सिफारिशों के आधार पर अंतिम निर्णय लिए जाने तक, सभी भत्तों का भुगतान वर्त्तमान वेतन संरचना में विद्यमान दरों पर किया जाता रहेगा मानो कि वेतन 01 जनवरी, 2016 से संशोधित ही न किया गया हो /]

I am working as principal. My pay scale in 6th pay scale 37400-67000 GP 10000. As on 31.12.2015 my salary was 63300. Pl. calculate my pay in 7th pay scale as per UGC.
As per you basic pay (including GP 100000 as on 31-12-2015 63300 X 2.57 = 1,62,681 fixed as stage 6, in MATRIX LEVEL 14 as Rs.1,62.681/ from 1-1-2016 plus applicable D.A. rates from time to time.
