Chapter of ‘Expected da from July 2023’ is over!
The highly anticipated announcement regarding the Expected Dearness Allowance (DA) from July 2023 has been officially released, bringing a sense of joy and relief to Central government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners across the nation.
Following the release of the AIPCIN statistical data for June 2023, the Dearness Allowance for July 2023 has been confirmed for Central Government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners. In accordance with the calculation methodology recommended by the 7th Pay Commission, the additional DA will increase by 4%, resulting in a total percentage hike of 46% for the Dearness Allowance.
Consequently, all Central Government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners can expect a minimum monthly salary increase of Rs.720 and a pension increase of Rs.360. These periodic salary and pension hikes aim to mitigate the impact of rising inflation and enable individuals to cope with the escalating prices of essential commodities.
The announcement regarding the new DA hike will be made subsequent to obtaining approval from the Union Cabinet. This approval is expected to take place in either the first or second week of September 2023. Following approval from the Cabinet Committee on Dearness Allowance, the Finance Ministry will issue relevant orders to ensure the prompt disbursement of the DA payment to all current and retired employees of the Central Government.

Dr R.Parshad says
Though the Highest Court (SC) issued orders and vacated stay in April 2023, yet the DoPT have not issued any order so far ( for the reasons not known to the affected Pensioners) for notional increment to thos who retired on 30 June/31 December after serving one full year. We humbly request the Govt. of India to issue necessary orders and not to unnecessarily delay . The SC issued orders with dirctions to implement in a month. Please don’t force the affected pensioners to file Contempt of Court cases in different Courts and spend there hard earned money.
