As per the decision of the Government of India on the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission for Group C employees in India as follows:
- Pay Matrix Level 1: Basic scale Rs. 18,000
- Pay Matrix Level 2: Basic scale Rs. 19,900
- Pay Matrix Level 3: Basic scale Rs. 21,700
- Pay Matrix Level 4: Basic scale Rs. 25,500
- Pay Matrix Level 5: Basic scale Rs. 29,200
Pay Matrix Level 1 to 5 are classified as Group C Staff in Central Govt Services.
