CSD THROUGH E-PLATFORM FOR EX-SERVICEMEN

379. SHRI AJAY PRATAP SINGH:
Will the Minister of Defence be pleased to state:

(a) whether Government is going to create an e-platform like Amazon, Flipkart etc., to provide CSD canteen and other facilities to the ex-servicemen so that the soldiers settled in far-flung areas can avail this facility; and

(b) if so, the details of progress made in this direction along with the number of districts where this facility has been started?

(a) & (b): An online portal is available for sale of Against Firm Demand Items Category One (AFD-I) including four wheelers/ two wheelers and white goods. The services are available to entitled CSD beneficiaries including ESM pan-India.
