Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Approved Hospital List in Assam

The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) is a healthcare program that aims to address the medical needs of active and retired Central Government personnel and their loved ones. This scheme provides an extensive array of services, encompassing treatment at outpatient departments for medication issues, expert consultation at government hospitals, hospitalization at government and accredited hospitals, and testing at government and accredited diagnostic centers. Senior citizens and eligible beneficiaries can benefit from cashless treatment at accredited hospitals and diagnostic centers, while expenditures incurred for emergency treatment in private unapproved hospitals are refunded. Additionally, the scheme also covers the costs associated with acquiring hearing aids, prosthetic limbs, and other comparable medical equipment.
