| Question | sir one individual got promoted from level – 4 (BP- 34300/-) to level -6 (BP-35400/-) from 22/11/2017 (notionally) and financial benefit will be given wef – 30/06/2018, in between i completed 10 years of service in level-4 and got macp wef – 01/04/2018 and placed in level – 5 wef – 01/04/2018 , sir please comment how fixation will be done and which option shall individual choose and what will be the BP. Which is beneficial to him. |

| Reply | This is to informing that the rule 50% in basic pay of pension is from 1/1/2006. Further informing you that as per the latest orders of dated 4/1/2019 you are eligible Grade Pay increased as ₹ 4200 to 4600 i.e. you are eligible for 50% of 400/- of ₹ 200/- plus D.R. as applicable from time to time of 1/1/2006 to 31/12/15 & 1/1/2016 you are eligible in 7th ÇPC as Matrix Level 7 so you get arrears for it upto your settlement. So you contact your ex-employer or give a compliment to https://www.cpao.gov.in. |

How level is fixed in matrix 13? I was drawing at level 10th of the scale when retired in April,2003.
Deptt of agriculture is some time fixing my pension at level 9 and after some time reduced it to level-5
Sir, thank you for uploading Central Government Employees and Pensioners Forum – Discussions on 16.6.2017 and 17.6.2019)so that all Central Government Employees and Pensioners can learn the present position of their respective case. As far as I am concerned I am eagerly waiting for notional increment for pension purpose as I retired from Defence Deptt 30-06-16, I felt very sad by noting nothing fruitful result came on this issue. Sir what is to be done next?
