What about the guidelines of cancellation of flight tickets already booked under the scheme of Leave Travel Concession (LTC) during the lockdown period for Central Government employees?

Directorate General of Civil Aviation has released a circular on 16th April 2020 regarding the refund of the ticket fare during the lockdown period from the 15th of April to the 3rd of May, 2020.

If a passenger wishes to cancel and ask to refund, the Airline should refund the full amount collected without levy of cancellation charge. The refund shall also be made within a period of three weeks from the date of the request of cancellation.

In this context, the order didn’t mention the word for LTC cases. Most of the CG staff and officers are availing the scheme of Leave Travel Concession on air with their family members in the month of April and May.
