April 2020 IDA Order from DPE – Revised IDA Rates

The Department of Public Enterprises has published four types of Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) orders for the executives of Board Level and below Board Level and also non-unionized supervisors.

1. Payment of DA to Board level/below Board level executives and non-unionized supervisors following IDA scales of pay in CPSEs on 1987 and 1992 basis.

• DA Rate w.e.f. 1.4.2020
• Up to Rs. 3500: 584.1%
• Above Rs. 3500 and Up to Rs. 6500: 438.1%
• Above Rs. 6500 and Up to Rs. 9500: 350.5%
• Above Rs. 9500: 292%

2. Board level posts and below Board level posts including Non-unionised supervisors in CPSEs- Revision of scales of pay w.e.f. 01.01.1997 – Payment of IDA at revised rates regarding

• DA Rate w.e.f. 1.4.2020
• Revised DA: 340.2%

3. Board level and below Board level posts including Non-unionized supervisors in Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) – Revision of scales of pay w.e.f. 01.01.2007 – Payment of IDA at revised rates-regarding

• DA Rate w.e.f. 1.4.2020
• Revised DA: 160.7%

4. Board level and below Board level posts including non-unionised supervisors in Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) – Revision of scales of pay w.e.f. 01.01.2017 – Payment of IDA at revised rates-regarding

• DA Rate w.e.f. 1.4.2020
• Increase Over Link Point: 52
• Revised DA: 18.7%
