H/commission granted to JCOs should be doubled. As per my knowledge 12 JCOs in every 1000. Para military forces like BSF, CRPF, CISF, GREF etc are getting more benefits as they are promoted officer posts. Govt should pay attention regarding this matter. Thank you.
SUB MAJ ( Hony capt) N R RAJU says
They start their career as SI and enjoys promotion upto deputy commandant or 2oic..The criteria for Direct recruited SI is graduation. Where as there are no direct recruited JCO except for catering officer in ASC and may be few other regiments. maximum all JCO start their career as sepoy..

Hony lts/Hony capts are when promoted from sub/sub majn are given all facilities of offrs except recognition of officer. Request this impartial practice of British era should be removed and these officers given the status of officers if not while in service at least after retirement.since there is no loss to the exchequer and no finanancial loss oh recognition. This will go a long way for the veterns for enjoyment in remaining part of their life.Hony capt Avtar Singh Chandigarh
Hony Capt Devendra Singh says
RESPECTED DEFENCE MINISTER SHRI MANOHAR PARIKAR SAHAB, The Honorary Comissioned Ranks in the Army must be given pension and status like a regular officer. I am not against any one but in Para Military and Police Forces if a Constable promoted as DSP he has given full Pensin and Staus of that Rank But in the Army it looks very shamefull. Please look in to the matter and resolve this gap. JAI HIN
Hony Capt V Dayal says
The honary comissioned ranks are given by the president of india after a long and unblemissed service rendered by a jawan but he is not as an officer and treated as a scheduled cast man by the officers. Eventhough after having 34 years of service, he not given the more pension in comparission of a 3 years Captain which is also appointed by the president of india. A service selection board is given more importance rather than 34 years regrious service on grounds.
